Going to sea, getting to travel,


What are some of the biggest outstanding question in your field?
What is the origin of orbital periodicities in sedimentary paleointensity and inclination records?
Are ‘cryptochrons’ in the Paleocene, Eocene and Oligocene only fluctuations in paleointensity or do they have directional changes of the magnetic field associated with them?


What is your favorite food?


What is the biggest misconception about your career field?
That it is a man’s job
When you use the term research “cruise” people get the wrong idea.....


What were your favorite and least favorite subjects in school?
Favorite: Geology!!
