Recent Earthquakes in Eastern North America Three-component seismic records at three broadband seismographic stations of the LCSN from an earthquake which have occurred near Massena, New York. These broadband stations are installed in the fall of 1999 and are starting to record seismic signals from local and regional earthquakes in the northeastern U. S. with high-dynamic range, modern instrument. For example, notice that the station LOZ (Lake Ozonia, NY) is only about 42 km from the source.
