Abstracts by LCSN Partners for the ES-SSA 2006 and Work Plan
On September 5th and 6th, many LCSN partners worked hard to submit four
abstracts for the Annual ES-SSA (Eastern Section of the Seismological
Society of America) meeting which will be held in Ottawa, Canada during
October 1-4, 2006. Many thanks to the lead person in each group for
their efforts to write and submit the abstracts. We have about one
month to work out each of the four topics and present the results. It
will be mostly poster presentations that allow more space and time to
show and tell your story and results.
Please look at the meeting program on its web site (see link below) and
see if you can attend the meeting for all or part of it. We can think
about driving a van and provide a ride for a few people. I think this
is more than just the meeting; I tried to engage all of you in one way
or the other. So, most of you were placed in one of the four topics. It
was based on your choice primarily, but I put some of you into a group
without hearing from you. So, please feel free to engage any topics you
wish. I hope that this will be an opportunity to tee off analysis of
your seismic observations.
With Best wishes, Won-Young Kim
