Admin Computer Operations

Computer Operations is responsible for configuring, upgrades, applications installation and security audit for over 400 PC and Mac desktops throughout LDEO.

Troubleshoots & resolves PC and Mac network.

Ensure day-to-day operation of the Administrative Win9X/2000 desktops including accounts and shares on the Primary Domain Controller.

Works one-on-one to train and assist users.

Works with the computer support staff to configure, upgrade, deploy and operate Win(9X/2000) Admin desktop images.

Installs, upgrades and monitors Administrative anti-virus and security software.

Operates various A/V and video teleconferencing equipment on all venues.

Research and recommend PC and Macintosh hardware printers.

Mail Forwarding and Vacation setup for the users on the new mail server
