Application for an extension lease may be made to the Lamont-Doherty Administration Office. All extensions are subject to approval by Columbia University Institutional Real Estate. Prior to your arrival (approx 2 weeks) you will need to contact Columbia's management company Smith Properties at (845)353-6835 to set up an appointment to sign the lease. Smith Properties will also be able to give you the contact information to turn on your utilities. At the time of signing your lease you are required to pay your 1st months rent and 1 months security. You may pay either by check(including travellers checks)or cash. If paying by check please make check out to The Trustees of Columbia.
