Office of Administration

The Administrator's Office has responsibility for all areas and functions contained in these web pages. The office is managed by two Assistant Directors who report directly to the Director of the Observatory. While each Assistant Director manages specific areas of administration directly related to his and her individual expertise, the two collaborate to implement the strategic goals and vision of the Director. The Assistant Directors are responsible for the implementation and practice of most non-scientific policies and procedures at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO). The Assistant Directors have signature authority for all LDEO financial transactions and can be called upon in the absence of specific individuals in charge of various areas.
