Office Furniture needs to be ordered using a Purchase Order. Upholstered furniture must meet the CAL TB 133 Fire Code, described below, and must be processed through
a Purchase Order in ARC

University Fire Code Requirements
CU subscribes to the Boston Fire Code for all upholstered furniture items. On January 1, 1995, Boston adopted the testing procedures contained in California Technical Bulletin 133 (CAL TB 133) as its procedure for regulation upholstered furniture. As such, CU will accept the same regulations.
