The Office of Contracts and Grants at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) is responsible for all sponsored research projects, including those proposals submitted to NOAA Office of Global Programs through the Cooperative Institute for Climate Applications and Research (CICAR). Beginning with the submission of a research proposal and working closely with the Office of Projects and Grants at Columbia University and the LDEO Finance Office, OCG handles all aspects of the award process from pre-award to post-award closeout to insure compliance with agency and University regulations. LDEO Office of Contracts and Grants is also responsible for:

• Disseminating information re:
• funding opportunities
• award notifications
• other pertinent Government notices
• Maintenance of Contracts and Grants database
