The proposed Center for Climate and Life will facilitate the fundamental research needed to determine how climate change impacts life, ecosystems and human sustainability.

Recent advances in climate and life sciences, and the acquisition of novel instrumentation and laboratories position our scientists to pursue innovative climate change research as it relates to the near-term security of food, water, shelter, and energy resources.

These opportunities, and the promise of new knowledge pertinent to global sustainability decisions are the impetus behind the Center for Climate and Life.
