We thank the following sources for their generous funding of the summer internship program at LDEO:

  • The National Science Foundation, Ocean and Earth Sciences REU Sites Program (funds 14 or more students)
  • The Earth Intern Program (funds 10 or more students from Columbia and Barnard only)
  • The LDEO Climate Center (funds 1 or 2 students)
  • Individual NSF grants and private donors.

Overall, there are between 26 and 34 students in the LDEO summer intern program each year, depending on the level of funding.
