The 2008 event will feature special participation from the Norwegian Consulate, and a focus on current International Polar Year research projects and collaborations, both national and international, celebrating the diverse cultures and environments of the polar regions. We Hosted by the American Museum of Natural History, Columbia University, Barnard College, Wings WorldQuest with funding from the National Science Foundation, the event celebrates the ongoing research of the fourth International Polar Year (IPY) 2007–2009.
