mail service and home directory service interrupted

Mail service for many users and home directory service for those using the oceandir server was interrupted this morning.  The directory server was down from approximately 10:30 until 12:15 when it was rebooted.  All services were restored at that time.  If you have your mail forwarded,, mail may have been delivered to your INBOX instead of your forwarding address(es).  If you have a procmailrc file, mail may have been delivered to your INBOX instead of being processed by procmail.  If you need help with either of these issues, please contact  request@ldeo.columbia.edu.
