Total Academic Headcount MATLAB Agreement

NEW October 2010:

We are now licensing our network MATLAB through Columbia University's Total Head Count site license,
and we will therefore be using CU license servers. The NEW license.dat file and the
NEW File Installation Key (FIK) necessary for new installation can be obtained locally
from request@ldeo.columbia.edu.

Users of the previous versions of MATLAB can continue to work with the lamont licenses, and
they DO NOT need to take any actions at this point.

You can download matlab 2010a from our software download page
using your UNI (Columbia Username) at

Columbia University Total Academic Headcount (TAH) MATLAB Agreement

As of July 2010 MATLAB is available for download under Columbia's Campus-Wide Licensing Agreement with MathWorks. MATLAB is generally available to Columbia University faculty, staff and students. The concurrent network license is available at LDEO at no additional charge. Standalone Faculty/Staff licenses are $250/year and Student licenses are $200/year. Under licensing rules, MATLAB may be installed on a personal machine as a standalone installation. Please contact CUIT at askcuit@columbia.edu or (212) 854-1919 for further assistance on standalone licensing. The various Matlab Toolboxes available with the TAH license are listed at http://www.columbia.edu/acis/software/licenses/matlab/
