Open House 2012

Open House is a long tradition at Lamont-Doherty, and one held dear to our staff, alumni, friends and neighbors. Due to extenuating circumstances, we regret that the Observatory will be unable to hold Open House in 2013. We thank everyone who has previously attended and so enthusiastically supported the event. We'll reinstate the Open House in 2014 and look forward to seeing you there.

Whether you're an aspiring young scientist or a long-time science enthusiast, you're sure to enjoy Lamont-Doherty's Open House. Tour a lab, participate in hands-on earth science demonstrations, and learn from world-renowned researchers about their latest discoveries.

Saturday, October 6, 2012, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory is located at 61 Route 9W, Palisades, NY (directions).

Open House is free and open to the public, with a $5 suggested contribution. No registration required.
