Wally Broecker Celebrates 70th Birthday

Wally Broecker and his wife of almost 50 years, Grace. Wally-llujah chorus: Emma Rainforth, Miriam Colwell, Christa Farmer, Mia Leo, Rick Mortlock, Bill Thompson, Paul Richards & Pierre Biscaye. Conductor: Arthur Greene. Dorothy Peteet, George Kukla, and Wally. Karl Turekian of Yale University spoke on "The way we were in the early days of Lamont" and "Wally, our friend." Students, faculty, staff, and alumni joined in the festivities.
