Temperature and salinity data taken at 27 locations on ~monthly runs from the Riverkeeper boat.

Maps

Bottom Mapping Data (Lamont)
Bathymetry, sidescan sonar and other data examples of the Benthic Mapping Projects that can be downloaded to GoogleEarth

Bottom Mapping Data (NYS DEC)
Interactive data are served from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) benthic mapper

Hudson River Data and Mapping Portal

The Center for International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN), as an Earth Institute center, has partnered with the USGS National Biological Information Infrastructure (NBII), to develop an array of online data as well as catalog and mapping tools for the Northeastern U.S. As a defining feature of the Northeast, the Hudson River watershed has been one of the first regions for which a wide range of tools has been developed include:

Tools

Tidal Prediction Data: Lamont’s Xtide tool

Piermont Pier Real Time Data (access through Lamont Riverscope site)

New York Harbor Observation and Prediction System (Stevens Institute of Technology)

Jamaica Bay Research and Management Information Network (JBRMIN)
A one-stop shopping catalog and data portal for research activities found within the Jamaica Bay region. This critical estuarine system and its surrounding uplands support important breeding, feeding and nursery habitats both for resident and migratory fish, shore and wading birds. Maintained by CIESIN.

New York Area Biodiversity Research and Conservation Database (NYBD)
An online, interactive catalog and map portal of biodiversity and conservation research projects for the 31 county NY Metropolitan region. It has been designed to allow regional scientists to add project and place specific information on their respective research projects, and then share those data via catalog and map services. Includes links to important regional river and estuarine projects.
