Proceedings of the 27th Seismic Research Review: Ground-based Nuclear Explosion Monitoring Technologies September 20-22, 2005 Palm Springs, California This SRR2005 CD contains a catalog of proceedings suitable for Windows, Macintosh, and UNIX platforms. It conforms to the ISO9660 standard. If you are using a PC and have AutoRun enabled, the COVER.HTM file will be launched in your default browser when you insert the CD into the CD drive. Otherwise, open the "COVER.HTM" file in the folder that displays after you open the "SRR2005" CD. If you would like to "Download" all of the proceedings from the SRR 2005 website to your local computer, just click the "Download" button on the COVER page and save the file "SRR2005.tar.gz" from the website to your computer. Then use a tool such as WinZip or StuffIt Expander to extract the files from the archive. All of the papers in this catalog are in Portable Document Format (PDF). You will need a PDF viewer such as Adobe Reader to view these papers. You should have the most current version of this software for your platform (7.0 for Windows and Macintosh, SunOs and Linux) installed as a helper application or plug-in for your browser in order to view these documents efficiently using the HTML files (start with COVER.HTM), which serve as navigation tools through this catalog of proceedings. For your convenience, we provide installers for most popular platforms with this CD in the /ADOBERDR folder. Use the ADOBERDR.HTM file to select the appropriate installer, or go directly to Adobe's website to obtain the free software. Older versions of Adobe Reader, or other PDF viewers, will probably work but may not display some of the figures correctly. The full set of PDF files sent to the print shop are also included on this CD in the HARDCOPY folder. If you want to print an entire section, or a volume, or the entire set of proceedings, you can find all of the files you would need in this folder, including the Acknowledgements, section separators, cover pages and Table of Contents files for each of the volumes. A note about page numbers: The page numbers on the papers correspond to the printed hard-copy, which was published in two volumes: Volume I contains all of the Seismic sections, and Volume II contains everything else. The page numbers do not reset in Volume II but continue from Volume I. When citing papers from this set of proceedings, authors should identify the volume number as well, but the page numbers alone should be sufficient. This set of proceedings is also available on-line at https://www.nemre.nnsa.doe.gov/review2005. If any errors are discovered after the CDs are burned and the files for the hard-copy version are sent to the publisher (on August 19, 2005), revisions will be posted to this website. If you discover any typos or errors, please report them to the Editor, Marv A. Wetovsky at marv@lanl.gov/(505) 665-8427. If you encounter problems with the website or CD, please contact the Webmaster, Mary L. Girven at mlgirve@sandia.gov/ (505) 844-4942 or Lupe Massoth at gmassoth@sandia.gov/ (505) 844-5780.
