Triaxial Deformation Apparatus

The triaxial deformation apparatus uses a confining medium (kerosene) to apply a uniform pressure around a sample. The hydraulic ram can then apply a differential stress. Intensifiers control the confining pressure as well as the pore pressure within the sample.
