I am interested in the interactions between different components of the climate system, focusing on the interplay between the atmosphere, ocean, and ice near polar ice shelves and tidewater glaciers.  Currently, I am investigating the role of the ocean in the observed changes of many of Greenland and West Antarctica's outlet glaciers.
