Alison R. Keimowitz, Ph.D.

I am a Postdoctoral Science Fellow at Columbia University. This means that I teach Frontiers of Science, a broad-based science class that is part of the core curriculum: it is required for all Columbia College students.  I also conduct research in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, centered at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory.  My research focuses on geochemical and microbiological controls on arsenic mobility in the environment.
