Environmental and Analytical Geochemistry

My research interests are on environmentally significant trace metals, in particular arsenic (As) and lead (Pb). These include analytical methods for trace elements, isotopes and aqueous speciation; application of low level toxic metals detection ability in geochemical, environmental and health sciences research; environmental chemistry and geochemistry of arsenic and lead; remediation technology and strategies for toxic metals in aqueous environments and atmosphere.

I am also broadly interested in environmental, climatic and geologic issues where radiogenic and radioactive isotope tracers and dating techniques are useful.
