Swath Mapping:
I'm involved in a number of swath mapping efforts
including:
- Seafloor Characterization And Mapping Pods
(SCAMP)
- Mapping in the Hudson River.
- Shallow water multibeam (Kongsberg EM-3000) collaboration with Roger Flood at SUNY/Stonybrook.
We have provided installation and technical support for shallow water multibeam
installations in a collaboration with SUNY/Stonybrook. Thus far, we have
made installations on:
- R/V Onrust, SUNY Stonybrook (Summer, 1998)
- R/V Barnes, University of Washington (August, 1999)
- R/V Coral Sea, Humboldt State (early September, 1999)
- R/V Tommy Monroe (late
September, 1999)
- R/V Seawolf (Stonybrook)
- We supported the original multibeam (SeaBeam 2112) integration on the Research
Ice Breaker Nathaniel B. Palmer. The SB2112 has been replaced with an EM120
- Multibeam (SB2112) support on the USCG Icebreaker Healy
- Hydrosweep DS2 support on the (now retired) R/V
Maurice Ewing
- Planning for the EM120/122 on the R/V Maruice Langseth
- MB-System Swath mapping
