-------------------------------------------------------------------- The files contain the observations that were used in the inversions for the Global Dispersion Model GDM52. The data set is described in the GDM52 paper: Ekstrom, G., A global model of Love and Rayleigh surface-wave dispersion and anisotropy, 25-250 s, Geophy. J. Int., doi:10.1111/j.1365-246X.2011.05225.x There is a separate file for each period and wave type (L or R) (see Table 1 the GDM52 paper). Each line in the files contains one phase-anomaly observation. The columns are: 1. CMT event name 2. station code 3. earthquake latitude (geographic) 4. earthquake longitude 5. earthquake depth 6. station latitude (geographic) 7. station longitude 8. earthquake-to-receiver distance (km) 9. wave type (Love or Rayleigh, L or R) and orbit (1 or 2) 10. phase anomaly (radians) with respect to PREM prediction 11. 1/sigma where sigma is the estimate of uncertainty (see Table 2) -------------------------------------------------------------------- GE 2011-10-25 --------------------------------------------------------------------
