De tout l'equipage, ce sont eux qui travaillent le plus dur, rammenant la boue du fond de l'ocean jusque dans les mains des scientifiques febriles - meme si la febrilite a tendance a diminuer au meme rythme que les rapports s'accumulent en approchant de la fin.

Since this is a drilling ship after all, there is some drilling and coring action - these are the hardest-working people onboard, bringing the mud from the bottom of the ocean to the hands of the excited scientists - even if the excitement is starting to wear off at the same pace as reports are piling up and we get closer to the end.
