Lab: Biosphere water quality
Summary / Purpose
The goal of this lab to introduce you to the different water quality parameters,
measurement techniques and there variability within and outside of the
Biosphere system, including:
-
precipitation, inside and outside
-
local groundwater
-
water leaching through the sediments
Students will use standard instruments to determine pH, conductivity, oxygen
content, alkalinity, nitrate, etc.
