Standard/sample preparation

• prepare standards
• use the Seven Anion Dionex Standard
• prepare the following dilutions, all into 100ml of DI water: 0.3ml, 0.6ml, 1.2ml, 2.5ml, 5ml. (Or use existing standards)
  
• prepare samples
• filter water
• fill two vials each, with filtered water undiluted, and diluted 1/10
• fill 5ml vials with standards and samples, load racks and fill out forms
• each rack has 6 positions, fill them in the following order:
  
• 2 standards, 3 samples, 1 blank

Run the standards, blanks, and samples

• Check the methods file
• setup the schedule file
• start the measurement
• we will run the remaining samples over night and hand out the chromatograms in next class.
