Scaling factors at GLISN stations


The table below shows the results from a scaling analysis of long-period body and surface waves recorded on GLISN stations using the method described Ekström, Dalton and Nettles (SRL, 2006). The optimal scaling factor between observed and synthetic seismograms is calculated, and the table shows the median (aqua blue) of the scaling factors, as well as the range (navy blue) for the second and third quartiles of the distribution of scaling factors.

The table gives the channel name, the wave type (Body wave or Mantle wave), a response epoch identifier, the times of the first and last observations used, the total number of observations, and the number of measurements used in the estimate of the scaling factor. The 0000 epoch identifier refers to all data available for the station.
