Car Free Tips for Lamonters

I am working on my PhD at Columbia University's Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, currently in my fourth year. My PhD adviser is Wade McGillis, and my research is on coastal and estuarine physical oceanography and air-sea carbon dioxide fluxes.  My goal is to gain insight into factors controlling carbon dioxide fluxes in these regions, helping the scientific community more accurately incorporate them into global carbon budgets -- of interest because of climate change.
