NA 2500, based on the well known dynamic
flash combustion process, analyzes N, NC, and NCS in a large
array of different samples. A simple analytical layout ensures
that all the gases generated by the high combustion temperature
are carried to a GC system and measured by a thermal conductivity
detector for a true, quantitative analysis. In addition, NA 2500 is equipped with an electronic mass flow control of carrier gas providing greater stability of the analytical conditions thus ensuring a long term reproducibility. |

SediGraph 5100 Particle Size Analysis SystemThe SediGraph 5100 determines particle size by the highly accurate and reproducible sedimentation method which measures the gravity-induced settling rates of different size particles in a liquid with known properties. The rate at which particles fall through the liquid is described by Stokes' Law. The largest particles fall fastest, while the smallest particles fall slowest, until all have settled and the liquid is clear. Since particles rarely exhibit uniform shapes, each particle size is reported as an "Equivalent Spherical diameter", the diameter of a sphere of the same material with the same speed of sedimentation. |
