This project is funded by the United States National Science Foundation (NSF: 75%) Sedimentary Geology and Paleobiology Program and the International Continental Scientific Drilling Program (ICDP: 25%). The NSF-funded facilitiy, LacCore (National Lacustrine Core Facility)  is providing support for core handling and UTCT (High-Resolution X-ray Computed Tomography Facility at The University of Texas at Austin) which is also an NSF-funded facilitiy, will be CT-Scanning the core.
