The whole day (24 hr) was spent in the Moenkopi.

During the morning night shift we passed into the Moqui Member of the Moekopi at about 598 ft, typified by the presence of abundant gypsum viens and nodules. The base of the Moqui Member was reached at 729 ft in the following night shift of December 6.

These gypsum bands are clearly post-depositional fracture fills.
