USS HAWKBILL SSN-666

After her commissioning in 1971, USS Hawkbill has given 29 years of faithful service to the United States.
SSN-666 is the second ship to bear the name Hawkbill. The first was the World War II submarine SS-366.
The Sturgeon Class submarines were of remarkable capabilities. The Hawkbill remained a formidible force throughout her 28 years of service.
