Each Spring, four Lamont scientists are invited to give a talk on their current research in the Public Lecture Series. These lectures are open to the public and are recorded and archived in Lamont's video portal. Many of these talks may be of interest to students and teachers alike as they are geared towards the lay person.
Lamont also hosts an Earth Science Colloquium Series, a lectures presented by Lamont and other researchers in the earth sciences and related fields. More technical than the Public Lecture Series in nature, some of these lectures may still be of interest to college level and graduate students in the earth sciences and can be accessed through our video portal.
A guide to Lamont’s on-campus educational and outreach activities that can be incorporated into broader impact sections of proposals. Additional sample statements and other outreach events will be added as they become available.
