I want to have a personal page. How do I do this?

Once you have the content for your page(s), you will need software to edit and upload the web files. The easiest way to start on a personal web site is to download a template and then to use web editing called Contribute 2. For more information see the Personal Web Page Guide.

How do I make my personal page publicly accessible?

To set up a ~mypage site go to webhowto.htm.

I have a research / database / lab site. How do I get it linked to/from the LDEO site?

All sites have to be registered via the on-line registration site in order to become part of the new automated web management procedure. Once you have registered, your site will be approved within 24 hours and will be linked to shorty thereafter.

How do I change my title / phone number / etc in the directory?

The appropriate office for this is the phone/security department. Please email your request to phone-request@ldeo.columbia.edu.
