The INCLUDES Alliance will galvanize the impact power of a focused STEM network, authentic scientific research, and STEM leadership curriculum to engage and inspire a new generation of STEM leaders. Each cluster will launch a pilot program that is a summer summer intensive for college and high school students. The college students will be trained and supported as mentors for the high school students. Students will develop summer long research projects and will work in the field and lab alongside scientists and science practitioners to have an authentic and meaningful research experience. In addition, a series of STEM leadership workshops will provide space to expand students\u2019 professional skills, communication skills, science literacy, etc. and be an opportunity for students to self-determine the significance of their interests and future in STEM.<\/p>\n
