In order to maximize the growth and support of the students and to provide the broad support needed, \u00a0a\u00a0distributed\u00a0mentoring program with peer, near peer mentors, and professional mentors is critical. At the basic level students will work in teams to support each other in their shared experience, mentoring each other as they grow and develop. In the second tier, college students, often prior program participants, will be trained and supported as team leaders and\u00a0mentors for the high school students.
