Columbia University/Lamont Shuttle Bus Schedule

The Shuttle transports passengers between the Columbia University Morningside Campus in Manhattan and the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory Campus in Palisades, New York. At Columbia, the bus stop is at approximately 118th Street on the West/southbound side of Amsterdam Avenue. At Lamont, the bus stop is in front of the Geoscience Building.

Tickets are sold in the Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences office between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. in 106 Geoscience (Lamont). They are NOT sold on the Columbia Campus or on the bus. You can board the bus in Manhattan without a ticket, fill out an I.O.U. form, and settle up when you arrive at Lamont.

Cost:

• Free to undergrads taking courses or doing research for no compensation at Lamont (pick up tickets at the Lamont office).
• 75 cents each -- all EESC graduate students, graduate students from other disciplines taking courses at Lamont, and undergraduate work-study students.
• $3.00 each -- others with CU ID.
• $4.50 each -- guests with no official CU affiliation.

EACH TICKET BUYS A ONE-WAY TRIP.
