Fields of interest:
Earthquakes, subduction zones, strike-slip faults, passive margins, active source seismology

I use marine geophysical methods such as seismic reflection imaging and 2D/3D seismic tomography to investigate processes along plate tectonic boundaries. In particular, I am interested in: (1) subduction zone processes and associated hazards (earthquakes, tsunami), (2) processes involved in the formation of continental rifted margins, (3) hydration and alteration of upper oceanic crust, (4) formation and evolution of large transform faults.
