Fields of interest:
Glaciology, Greenland hydrology, Ice-penetrating radar sounding
My research focuses on understanding ice sheet behavior and its interaction with the subglacial environment. I use a combination of simple hydrological and ice sheet modeling, as well as ice-penetrating radar sounding to examine the importance of subglacial hydrology in modulating ice flow dynamics. My current project focuses on constraining the distribution of subglacial water on a catchment-scale beneath the Greenland ice sheet. I have also participated in the IcePOD field campaigns in Greenland and Antarctica, which you can find more information here.
