[Journal entry for November 4, 2016]. On the way back from visiting my mother, I stopped briefly by Alpine Swamp. It is a small pond just west of Route 9W on the crest of the Palisades ridge and is edged by bushes and Phragmites and bordered by hardwood trees. The fall colors are bright and the water is still, reflecting them beautifully. 0:15.
