5:40 AM, Leave Tappan NY

9:30 Iroquois Travel Plaza, NY State Thruway, Little Falls, NY, for breakfast and gas.

10:00, Spring 1, on Swimming Road, across Moyer Creek from S. Litchfield Rd., Frankfort NY. The outflow is from a pipe in a concrete pedestal on the west side of a parking lot, south of Spring Rd., immediately west of Moyer Creek.

11:00-12:00 Short stops to view natural areas along Route 28, between Woodgate NY and Old Forge NY:

A. White Lake, from near its south end where it is close to Rt. 28;

B. Small pond, from the east side of Rt. 28, south of the intersection with Old Rt. 28;

C. Moose River, from Moose River Road;

D. Moose River, from the Route 28 highway bridge;

E. Middle Settlement Creek, from the west side of Rt. 28, across from Singing Waters RV Park and Campground;

F. Beaver Pond, from the west side of Rt. 28, across from Scusa Rd.

G. Large wetland with stream, from the west side of Rt. 28, south of O Kara Rds. The stream is the outflow of Lake Tekeri and Lake Easka.

12:30 PM, Mountainman Outdoor Supply Co., Old Forge, NY, to pick up a kayak.

3:50 PM. LDEO, to drop off samples.
