"Here we are, a few miles away from Manhattan, New York City, one of the great urban centers of the world. And much of our important research in fact is focused there. We’ve looked at air pollutant to transportation issues. We played a role in understanding the impacts of the Twin Tower disasters and the impacts that had on the quality of atmosphere in southern Manhattan. So while we work all over the world, we also have a very healthy focus in our own backyard and work closely with our good colleagues in New York City."
