------------------------------------------------------------- The files contain the observations that were used in the inversions for global phase-velocity maps (ETL97). There are 18 files. The first line in each file starts with '#' and should be ignored. The rest of the file contains data. Each line contains one phase anomaly observation. The columns are: 1. CMT event name 2. station code 3. earthquake latitude 4. earthquake longitude 5. earthquake depth 6. station latitude 7. station longitude 8. phase velocity perturbation (km/s) with respect to PREM 9. earthquake to receiver distance (km) 10. phase anomaly (radians) with respect to PREM prediction 11. weighted misfit 12. total seismogram misfit 13. misfit in single frequency band 14. wave type (Love or Rayleigh, L or R) 15. period for phase anomaly 16. minimum period in analysis 17. maximum period in analysis 18. predicted phase (should be 0.00 in these files) 19. weight (1.00 means use, 0.00 means skip) 20. 1/sigma where sigma is the estimate of standard deviation ------------------------------------------------------------- GE 2011-01-13 -------------------------------------------------------------
