Greg worked with the Griffin lab at Toolik Lake, AK to look at how changes in the summer growth season affect the physiology of Arctic shrub species. Back in New York, he spent many a long night with the CHN analyzer in the Griffin lab at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, looking for correlations between leaf canopy position and foliar Nitrogen content.

A native west-coaster, Greg enjoys being outside, forest ecology, and bicycle touring.
