Areal Snap: algorithm used causes time values biased toward actual sample times.

Description:
SYMPTOM:    When using the 'Areal Snap' option, the algorithm used causes the
            time values to be strongly biased towards the actual sample times.
  

Solution:
WORKAROUND: None available.  
           
RESOLUTION: GeoFrame 3.0 uses a modified snapping algorithm to produce a more
            uniform distribution of picks. This algorithm provides an order of
            magnitude reduction in bias towards the sample time.
