Unknown message id #534408105 in BM basemap application

Description:
SYMPTOM:  Map annotation disappeared after creating a scaled plot of basemap.  
          Error received after clicking the Grid Annotation button in the 
          map appearance window:

               Unknown message id #534408105 in BM basemap application
               Unable to find a closest color
               Invalid color representation type specified
               Function col_rep_get_type failed.

        Error persists after deleting all Basemap files 

Solution:
WORKAROUND: In this particular case, do not delete the existing files.
            Simply re-select the basemap .

RESOLUTION: Fixed in GeoFrame 3.x.
