Sharing fails if there is not enough free disk space in the user's home directory.
Description:
IESX_DataManager_Seismic: When sharing data from another project, a
temporary file is created in the user's home directory. The sharing process
fails if the user does not have adequate free disk space in the home directory
and the following error is returned:
"initialize data area failed
Error writing to temporary file"
followed by the path name of the temporary file.
Solution:
WORKAROUND: - Make sure there is enough disk space for the temporary file in the
home directory. The size of the temporary file depends on the
amount of data to be shared.-OR-
- Provide a link to another disk location that contains plenty of
free disk space. -OR-
- Use another userid to share with, that has more space available.
The temporary file is deleted automatically after the sharing
process is completed.
RESOLUTION: Corrected for GeoFrame 3.5. Files will be written to /tmp.
