Topic:
No log curves available for selection in IESX Synthetics > Content...

Description:
The curves were loaded through ASCII Load. The curves are available for selection in the General Data Manager. In the loading definition, the Index Information was toggled to explicit, and the loader read the depths from a column in the file, rather than using a specified sample rate and start depth to calculate depth for each sample. IESX can only use regularly sampled logs (implicit), it cannot use logs which have the potential to be irregularly sampled (explicit).

Solution:
PROBLEM: Log curves loaded with an explicit depth index cannot be seen by IESX. (Seis2DV/3DV and Synthetics) To check: 1.) select the General Data Manager. 2.) select the Project, click MB3, Expand by Type > Field 3.) select the Field the well is in, click MB3, Expand by Type > Well 4.) select the Well 5.) select the Array spreadsheet display tool (6th icon on left) 6.) from the spreadsheet (titled Log Curve Viewer), double click on the curve in question with MB1 7.) if the Sample Interval is shown as N.A. then the curve has been loaded with an explicit depth index. WORKAROUND 1: Reload the log curves using the implicit depth index. WORKAROUND 2: Resample the log curve in WellEdit.
