Upgrade from GeoFrame 3.1 to 3.5 generates multiple copies of the coordinate projection.
Description:
Upgrading projects from GeoFrame 3.1 to GeoFrame 3.5 generates multiple
copies of the coordinate projection and sets the horizontal datum
for those projections to Unknown.
The Display and Storage projections use one of the copies with the unknown datum
and this causes problems in Share Seismic, Merge interpretation etc.
Solution:
To change the setting for the project to use the correct projection,
go to the Project Manager => Edit and choose Set Projection.
Select the correct projection (usually the last one in the list) and click OK.
Make sure you correct the projection for both Display and Storage.
Query: 'Find all Coordinate_System not contained by Borehole'.
This will display only project coordinate systems. The incorrect projection
will have Datum Unknown.
To change the projection which has the Unknown datum double click on it to open
the "Geodetic Coordinate System Editor"
In the datum column click on the correct datum you wish to use
Example: NAD27 (North American Datum 27) and click OK.
To delete the incorrect projections go to the General Data Manager
Select the incorrect projections and delete.
Corrected in GeoFrame 3.6
