Topic:
MT_E_OBJECT_DISPLAY_FAILED
Description:
When trying to edit/add fault traces on Basemap receives error:
mt_e_object_display_failed
mt_e_display_any_type_object
mt_e_display_any_ntrp_object_fail
mt_e_display_ntrp_ftrace_seg_1_obj_fail
mt_e_display_ntrp_draw_ftrace_seg_fail
output polygon has fewer then three points
Also, faults are disappearing/reappearing at different zoom levels.
Solution:
This is a problem with fault traces not being closed, edited properly, and/or
defined properly. Selectively delete fault traces in reverse order in which they were interpreted until the error goes away or delete them all (Mode >
Fault trace > Add/edit; click on the 'Delete' toggle; click MB1 on the fault
trace(s) in Basemap and then MB3/Delete).
If they won't delete in Basemap, use DataManager > Interpretation > Delete.
Select the survey, fault(s), horizon on which the fault traces lie, toggle on
Fault Traces Only and click Delete.
